And the book is on Amazon for just $5:
I wrote this book for all of the authors out there who struggle with marketing their books. Since 2011, I’ve sold hundreds of thousands of books as a self-published author and I frequently tell people that this game is 1% having a good book and 99% marketing. I build these exact book marketing websites for clients and I’ve included every single step with detailed pictures and videos so that any author can make their own. This book will show you how to build book marketing websites will do 99% of the things that 99% of authors need. And they do it all with no monthly fees. First off, as an author, you need a website. All of your book marketing efforts won’t make much sense if you don’t have your own website to send people to. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but it does need to have a few specific features to be effective such as: -Your own domain name -Collecting email addresses in exchange for a lead magnet (like a sample chapter of your book) -Sending email newsletters to your subscribers But why do you need a website? Can’t you just link to Amazon? You can, but this is one of the BIGGEST MISTAKES that many authors make: posting Amazon links to their books on social media. I know linking directly to Amazon seems like this is the right thing to do, but if you want to sell more books, you need to think like a marketer. You want to do what you can to collect customer contact information BEFORE sending them to Amazon. Look, Amazon is the BLACK HOLE of marketing. Once you send someone to Amazon, you really have no idea if they even bought your book. And you certainly don’t get any customer contact information like their name or email. Remember: If a customer buys your book on Amazon, they are Amazon’s customer, NOT YOURS. With your own author website, you can offer an incentive to join your email newsletter (such as a sample chapter) and THEN send your customers to Amazon to buy your book. This is how the most successful authors grow their email lists. As an author, a contact list of customers will arguably be the most valuable part of your book business. It’s something that you own and control. It’s a place where you can get feedback, ask for book reviews directly, and announce/launch your next book. Once you have a list of email addresses, you can then send email newsletters to stay connected to your readers and fans. Already published? Great! You can integrate your own website to your current book marketing strategies. Not published yet? No problem! A website will help you build a list of interested readers ahead of your launch and even take preorders. Already have a website? Perfect! This book also shows you how to integrate this entire process into existing websites. This 156-page book contains 8 chapters and 18 private video lessons walking you through the entire process from registering a domain name, offering sample chapters, collecting email addresses, and sending newsletters. Chapter 1: Your Book Needs A Website Chapter 2: What is Kit? Chapter 3: Your Own Custom Domain Name Chapter 4: Your Kit Creator Profile Chapter 5: Sending Email Newsletters Chapter 6: Landing Pages & Forms Chapter 7: Selling Digital Products Chapter 8: What’s Next? Just follow the steps and you’ll have your own book marketing website, all with no monthly fees. I’m happy to answer any questions about the book, book marketing websites, or book marketing in general. |
